In March 2024 a wonderful love of books gave rise to a gathering of readers under the centuries old Banyan trees at Shadwell Great House. The IslandBooky @ Bougainvillea Book Club is a quarterly book club focused on Caribbean Reads that is co-curated by Raemona of IslandBooky and Sarah of Bougainvillea Books and Gifts. Together they seek to build community around reading Caribbean and truly enjoying the moment of delving deep into a good book.
