Learn and Lime for Teens – Financial Advisor, international podcast host and author Davinia Tomlinson partnered with Bougainvillea Books & Gifts in 2023 to host seminar and reception for teen girls. The event was designed around the empowering work done by Davinia and presented through her book Cash is Queen. With thanks to the Advancement for Children Foundation each teen received a goody bag complete with a copy of the book and other gifts; 2 lucky teens also won gifts which were donated by Diamonds International and Akilah Byron-Nisbett. Women Empowering Girls (WeG) and Women Inspiring a Nation (WIN) joined the reception and engaged with the teens in a moment of mentorship while mingling.
